Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How are your soaps made?
A: All soap bars are made using the cold-processed method. This involves measuring oils/butters, a liquid and lye and mixing them together, which results in saponification. All soaps cure for 4 to 6 weeks before they are made available for sale. Cured soaps do not contain lye and are safe for use.
Q: How long do your soaps last?
A: Soaps can last up to 2 to 3 weeks with proper care. Factors that affect the life of your soap include how frequently it is used and whether or not you allow it air dry after each use. Do not leave your soaps sitting in or near water after use. Use a soap saver with your soap to lengthen its life.
Q: What if I have skin allergies?
A: If you have sensitive skin, think you may be allergic to any soap ingredient, or have a history of skin allergies, please consult your healthcare provider before use or do not use. If you experience an allergic reaction during use, please discontinue use immediately. Statements used in product descriptions have not been verified by the FDA.
